"Her eyes are like two drops of coffee in a cloud of milk," and as I painted them, I was seeing the prettiest shade of brown. The artwork for this doodle is heavy with elements: elements from her movies that she gave life to; she made the thunder roar, the snake mudra hiss, the blue pop, hats seem uber cool, and the laddoos remind you of bittersweet memories. The Os of Google had to be the bangles from her blockbuster song, "Mere Haathon Mein Nau Nau Churiyaan Hain"!

While I was reading about her childhood, I started reading a little history too: the architecture that depicts and worships women, dance, strength, and art; the folk arts that have traveled, bearing echoes of generations of creativity.
