Hi!
I am Bhumika Mukherjee. I am a visual designer and artist.
I recently won the New Aesthetics Grant from Patrick Collison and Tyler Cowen, awarded to 28 creatives globally.

I have worked on diverse art and design projects with Google, MTV India, the Azim Premji Arts and Culture Programme, The Plated Project, The Gandhi Vatika Museum, South Asian American Digital Archive (SAADA), Lamborghini India, Coca-Cola, and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, among others. For them, I have produced illustrations, concept art, storyboards, animations, and original paintings, crafting beautiful narratives and bringing forth powerful voices.
I collaborate with brands both directly and through agency teams, working with them on websites, books, posters, films, packaging design, brand design, brand strategy design, and various products.
I also work on commissioned artworks in oil paints, acrylics and gouache, customised to individual client preferences and creative briefs. I express concepts and personal visions as original paintings, with a strong focus on material exploration, attention to detail, and whimsical storytelling.
Previously, I was a Creative Producer at Disney, Star Movies & Star Movies Select. The impact of my work spanned from making award-winning creatives that made viewers watch the Oscars on their television, to making a lot of people tune in to something lesser known like Disney’s Tomorrowland. I worked on entire creative processes from concept to completion, developing ideas, scripts, and campaigns.
I graduated from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, as an Animation Film Designer in 2015.
